Super Bowl of Motorsports
|
| It definitly lived up to the name! We had an awesome time. Our group had over 30 people in it. Grave Digger won the race and Max-D won the freestyle competition. The suzuki girl made it to the 2nd round to Ryan's dissapointment. They had this truck caleed the monster mutt, it stunk, its a good ting it had flappable ears on it for the little kids. The Atlanta 4-wheel team took home the SUPRISE win against NYC. |

Rafal
|
I just got ripped a good one by my math teacher. Or as some people would like to say "shafted." Here's a copy of the email he sent me. I'll say this to set it up: I had writen him to ask if I could change my math final to the conflict period because I had 3 exams on Wednesday and this was his reply email.
Hi,
In the case you have 3 exams during the same day the middle one is
considered
in conflict,
see http://www.academic.gatech.edu/handbook/handbook5.html#s5p10p1
section 5.10.1.3(e).
Our final is between 8.00-10.50am, is it a middle one ? (send me your
final schedule for Wed.)
If yes, we can arrange for you to take the exam during the conflict period.
Best,
Rafal K. |

Bible Verse
|
Each week I'm trying to learn a new bible verse using the once a day for six weeks, once a week for six months,.....plan that Ryan showed our d-group. So I'm going to try and post my new verse each week. This week's verse is:
Romans 5:8- "But God demonstrates His own love fore us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." |

GT Basketball
|
GT didn't do as well as we would have liked on the football field but our basketball team is picking up the slack. They are off to a 6-0 start and have won convincingly even against #1 UConn. Here's a picture of Is'mail Muhammed who can jump out the gym or the "wazoo." |

One Liners about God from my mom
|
1. Give God what's right -- not what's left.
2. Man's way leads to a hopeless end -- God's way leads to an endless hope.
3. A lot of kneeling will keep you in good standing.
4. He who kneels before God can stand before anyone.
5. Don't put a question mark where God puts a period.
6. When praying, don't give God instructions - just report for duty.
7. Don't wait for six strong men to take you to church.
8. WARNING: Exposure to the Son may prevent burning.
9. Exercise daily -- walk with the Lord.
10. Be ye fishers of men -- you catch them & He'll clean them.
11. Read the Bible -- It will scare the hell out of you.
